The US has removed its de minimis threshold that previously allowed parcels under $800 USD to enter the country duty-free. This change means most goods shipped to the USA will now be subject to import duties and taxes, regardless of their value.

How to send parcels to the USA
There are three methods for shipping from the UK to the USA with Evri:
Lockers
Package up your items, book your delivery and take your parcel to your nearest Locker. Simply scan your barcode, pop your parcel into an available Locker and you’re good to go.
Couriers
Arrange for a courier collection from your home or office on a convenient day for a door-to-door service. We'll give you a 1-hour window for when you can expect us.

You should also follow the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations and the UK Civil Aviation Authority guides to keep up to date with the latest restrictions for sending parcels to the USA via airlines.
The best address format for sending parcels to the USA
When you send a parcel to the US, you'll need to follow the correct address structure:
- The recipient's name
- The house number and street name
- The city, state, and at least the first half of the ZIP code in capital letters.
- "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" in capital letters on the last line of the address. You can also use the abbreviation "USA".
