Tesco delivers double Clubcard points on parcels with Evri
Tesco Clubcard users can get double points this September with Evri, the UK’s biggest dedicated parcel delivery company, as it continues to celebrate 50 years of delivering.
Last November Evri and Tesco announced a partnership to allow consumers to collect Clubcard points when sending a parcel with Evri. The deal reflected the commitment of both parties in rewarding customer loyalty and this latest offering expands the commitment.
For any parcels booked online at evri.com between Monday 9th and Monday 30th September 2024, Clubcard points collected will be automatically doubled. For every £1 spent on Evri.com sending a parcel, consumers can now collect 2 Clubcard points, meaning the more parcels they send, the more points they can turn into vouchers to get money off their Tesco shop. Alternatively, consumers can choose to donate to charity – or double the value of their points with more than 100 Tesco Clubcard Reward Partners.
How it works
· Step 1: Consumers should add their Clubcard number on the Evri basket page
· Step 2: Click the 'Collect points' button and it will be checked with Tesco
· Step 3: Consumers can enjoy their points! They'll be credited within 14 days
Evri announces this deal as it continues its 50th year celebrations. Evri’s roots can be traced back to 1974 as Grattan mail order in Bradford. The business started with just seven couriers; the families of directors packed and delivered parcels to local customers; this is where the home delivery model was launched. In the early nineties, Evri had 1,000 couriers, covering 60% of the UK and delivering parcels two to three days a week. Fast forward to 2024 and Evri is a Leeds-based UK success story, with more than 20,000 couriers and 8,000 employees, delivering more than 730 million parcels to consumers each year to over 220 destinations worldwide.
Evri initially partnered with Tesco in 2021, when its ParcelShop services were made available in Tesco Express stores across the UK enabling customers to send, receive and return parcels as they shopped. Consumers can now use Evri’s parcel services in more than 1,200 Tesco stores and print a free label in-store if they don’t have a printer at home.
